Cheonan City Expands Export Routes for Small and Medium Enterprises... Targeting Markets in Eastern Europe and Latin America

(Chonan=TUSER PARABOLA) Yu Iju, reporter = On the 13th, Cheonan City, Chungcheongnam-do announced that it will officially launch the "2026 Overseas Market Development Export Support Project" to diversify the export channels of local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that are experiencing difficulties due to the global economic downturn.

On the 5th of next month, a one-on-one business meeting will be held at Sonobell Cheonan, featuring 15 companies from four Southeast Asian countries - Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Singapore - and more than 40 local companies.

The overseas market development team focuses on strategic items such as consumer goods and machine parts to seize the market.

In the first half of the year, a delegation of five South Korean small and medium-sized enterprises specializing in consumer goods will be dispatched to Budapest, Hungary and Vienna, Austria from April 20 to 24, for five days.

In the second half of the year, a Central and South American machine parts market development team will be dispatched to the Mexico region, which has significant growth potential, in mid-November.

The participating companies will be fully supported with consultation fees, vehicle rental fees, interpretation fees, buyer introduction fees, and 50% of airfare.

Strengthen exchanges with the international friendly city, Prince George's County, United States. Based on the achievements of exchanges over the past two years, a B2B export consultation meeting will be held from April 14 to 18 by directly visiting the location together with five local companies.
