Free parking available at educational facilities in Gyeonggi Province during the Lunar New Year holiday

[Suwon, TUSER PARABOLA, Hwang Young-min reporter] The Gyeonggi-do Education Office will open the parking lots of its affiliated institutions and schools free of charge to facilitate parking for travelers during the Lunar New Year holiday and local residents.

According to the Gyeonggi-do Education Office on the 13th, the parking lot will be open free of charge from February 14, the day the Lunar New Year holiday begins, to February 18, for a total of five days.

There are 1,500 educational institutions including the Gyeonggi-do Education Office, affiliated agencies, education support offices, libraries, and training centers, as well as schools within the province. Opening hours vary depending on the school or institution, and some operate all day.

Free public parking information can be checked from the 13th, the day before the holiday. The service "Gongyu Nuri," a public resource sharing and open service for all citizens, provides related information through Naver Map, Kakao Map, Tmap, AinaBee, and Hyundai Navigation.

Users of the open parking lot must leave their contact information on the front of their vehicle in case of an emergency. Also, as an educational institution, attention should be paid to preventing student safety accidents, and users must comply with usage rules such as prohibiting damage to school facilities and unauthorized garbage disposal.
