[USER PARABOLA] Busan Credit Guarantee Foundation (Chairman Gu Gyeong-sung) has been honored with the title of "Top Foundation for Business Recovery and Entrepreneurship Support in 2025" for its efforts in leading small business owners to successful recovery.

According to the Busan Credit Guarantee Fund on the 13th, this award was decided by comprehensively evaluating factors such as the performance of bad debt cancellation, the performance of business recovery education and consulting, and the performance of guarantee support for re-entrepreneurship and re-challenge across regional credit guarantee funds nationwide.

Busan Shinbo has demonstrated its outstanding capabilities in the field of revitalization support by receiving high scores across all indicators.

The foundation boldly wrote off (closed management) approximately 3.1 billion won in uncollectible receivables over the past year.

It received high evaluation for removing the stigma of default for small business owners who had been suffering from long-term debts, and for establishing a practical foundation for them to re-engage in economic activities.

Beyond simple financial support, "software-type support" such as education and consulting to enhance the self-reliance of small business owners also shone. The Hope Return Package entrepreneurship education program last year graduated 335 participants and conducted 19 in-depth consultations, showing a high level of connectivity with the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' programs.

In addition, the foundation's own program, the "Small Business Management Improvement Total Package Support Project," has produced 227 graduates through the foundation's expertise in recovery education. In particular, it has achieved an impressive 493 consultation sessions, realizing on-site, closely-knit support.

He took the lead in solving the biggest barrier to a second attempt, the issue of funding.

The foundation provided a total of 51.8 billion won in new funds through the special guarantee programs for business re-start and re-entrepreneurship support, playing a solid role in helping small business owners with failure experiences to re-establish themselves in the market.

President Koo Gyo-sung said, "This award is the result of the foundation's staff and employees working together with one heart to help small business people who have experienced failure to rise again." He also stated, "In the future, Busan Credit Guarantee Foundation will further strengthen a solid support network for business recovery, so that 'a single failure can be the foundation for greater success.'"
