Kai Reveals EXO Members Unaware of New Show

EXO’s Kai has revealed that he would like to invite Chanyeol to his new variety show, “Real Talk.” During the online production presentation for SBS’s upcoming show on the 2nd, Kai was asked about how the EXO members reacted to his participation in the new program. His response was unexpected: “Actually, they didn’t react at all.”

MC Yoo Jae-pil then questioned whether Kai sees the other members daily given their shared activities and fan meetings. In a candid reply, Kai admitted, “Their schedules are so busy, so they probably just gave me encouragement.” He added, “I don’t think they know I’m doing Real Talk. I should contact them today.”

When asked which EXO member he would like to invite to the show, Kai chose Chanyeol. He explained, “He wasn’t funny before, but lately he’s become really funny, maybe because he’s more relaxed. He even did some acting, so I think he’ll do great.”

“Ani Geundeon Jinshi” is a new talk variety show where guests are invited into a worldview newly built by the MCs each episode. Lee Su-ji, known for her various “sub-characters,” shared her excitement about the project. She said, “I thought that handling various concepts is something I can do well, so I immediately accepted the offer.” She added, “I plan to show the charm of both my sub-characters and my real self.”

After the end of Dolsing Fourmen, Tak Jae-hoon and Lee Sang-min reunited on this program, creating fun through their bickering. Tak Jae-hoon mentioned, “Dolsing Fourmen wasn’t canceled because of my intention. Lee Sang-min canceled it.” He continued, “I felt like I couldn’t show my mother that I was just playing around, so I thought I should do something no matter what.”

When asked about his feelings on successfully finding reemployment, he said, “I’m so happy to be able to work again. It’s a gift from God,” but joked, “Working again with the ‘program murderer’ makes me very anxious and scared.”

Lee Sang-min said, “I got married last year and was immediately fired from Dolsing Fourmen. Since it was all my fault, I felt sorry to everyone, but now that I’ve found reemployment, I have something to say to my wife and to Tak Jae-hoon.”
