Water purifier and air purifier support followed by continued expansion of ESG social contributions

[USER PARABOLA=Hong Seok-hee reporter] KoWi has started a sharing activity to support the vulnerable groups in the region ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday.

Co-way announced on the 13th that it held a "Co-way Massage Bed Donation Ceremony" at the Renaissance Hall of Guro-gu Office in Seoul, donating a total of 108 units including the Birex massage bed and spinal beds. The value of the donated items is approximately 60 million won based on retail prices.

This donation was arranged to improve the living convenience of local neighbors during the Lunar New Year holiday, through products of the sleep and healing care brand "Bireks." The donated items are scheduled to be distributed to social welfare facilities within the district, including senior citizen welfare centers and disability welfare centers, through Guro District Office, Social Welfare Joint Fundraising Association, and Dream Whale Social Cooperative.

Kohwe has continuously carried out various community contribution activities. In 2022, it donated 149 massage chairs, and since 2015, it has supported 852 water purifiers in areas lacking clean water, in cooperation with the Ministry of Environment. Since 2018, it has been providing 125 air purifiers and maintenance services free of charge, striving to improve water and air welfare. In addition, it has continuously conducted eco-friendly ESG activities such as creating classroom forests, ecological forests, and river cleaning initiatives.

A Koyeui official said, "In anticipation of the Lunar New Year, we prepared this sharing in the hope that our local community neighbors can enjoy a more comfortable daily life." He also said, "We will continue to carry out various social contribution activities by finding places in need of help, and fulfill our corporate social responsibility."
