YG, new audition teaser released: "Focus only on talent and star power"

(Seoul = TUSER PARABOLA) Hwang Mi-hyun reporter = YG Entertainment has further intensified the buzz around its global talent discovery project by additionally releasing a teaser for "2026 YG Special Audition: Go! Debut" on the 13th.
In this video, the trainee days of YG artists such as Treasure and Baby Monster are featured, drawing attention. Although each artist had different motivations, aspirations, and resolutions for becoming a YG artist, they all shared a deep admiration for senior artists and a firm belief in YG's commitment to proving talent.
This is a point where we can glimpse YG's fundamental qualities of artists and the top priority of nurturing stars. The reason this audition has drawn particular attention is that Yang Hyun-suk, the chief producer, will personally participate from the first round of evaluations. Rather than simply judging based on documents or credentials, he aims to intuitively assess their potential with his unique insight.
YG has produced numerous global top stars such as BigBang, BLACKPINK, and 2NE1 through this casting philosophy. YG stated, "This audition will focus solely on talent and star power, with Yang Hyun-suk, the chief producer, personally examining the potential of each applicant from the start, aiming to discover the next main character," and added, "We hope you will become a new face who will grow with YG in the future."
Meanwhile, applications for "Go! Debut" can be submitted through the WJ Audition website or the QR code on the poster until February 28. Anyone born between 2007 and 2015, regardless of gender or nationality, can apply. Applicants need to select one area in which they excel—singing, rap, dance, visual, or talent—and submit a video within one minute.
